Have you heard the news? We now have a Traditional Chinese Practitioner on our team. It’s so great to be able to add Catherine Argyros to our already wonderful team of enthusiastic practitioners.
With over a decade of experience, Catherine treats a variety of conditions including musculoskeletal conditions, women’s health, pre and post-natal care, labour preparation, digestive disorders and detox. She is also passionate about the benefits of yoga and meditation.
Born in Adelaide, she moved to Athens, Greece with her family in her late teens, then on returning she got in touch with her grass roots by working as a Jillaroo in the small town of Leigh Creek, northern South Australia.
Catherine and her husband have lived, worked and studied in Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane before settling in Melbourne, where they always knew they wanted to be. Catherine now has 3 children, 2 rescue dogs and absolutely loves growing her own edible garden, and living as sustainably as possible.
What is Traditional Chinese Medicine?
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a whole system of primary health care that includes acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, remedial massage, exercise and breathing therapy and diet and lifestyle advice. It is built on a foundation of more than 2,500 years of Chinese medical practice, where it takes a wholistic approach to understanding normal function and disease processes and focuses as much on prevention of illness as it does on treatment.
Catherine would love to see if she can help you lead a happier and healthier life, through traditional Chinese medicine. Ring the office for an appointment.
